The 7 Pot Congo chocolate is one of the hottest chili varieties in the world with up to 1,000,000 Scoville units. What sets it apart from other extremely hot varieties is its taste: fruity and aromatic with a note of citrus. The fruits have a red/brown colour and are approx. 4-6 cm large. The plant can reach a height of around 100 cm and produces a good number of fruits.
This type of chili is ideal for seasoning sauces, soups and stews as well as for refining meat and vegetable dishes. However, due to its spiciness, it should be used sparingly and with caution.
